Born in Matshamhlophe
What started as a simple idea — a place where Bulawayo could unwind over a cold one and a proper braai — became Matshamhlope Social Club.
Today we're the spot for after-work drinks, weekend match days, birthday celebrations and long Sunday afternoons. Same warm welcome, every time.

Our mission is to give Bulawayo a warm, welcoming place to unwind. We serve proper flame-grilled braai and ice-cold drinks, host great music and sports, and make every guest feel like part of the family, whether it's their first visit or their hundredth.

Our Vision
We see Matshamhlope Social Club as the heart of the neighbourhood and one of the best-loved bar and grills in Bulawayo. It is a place where neighbours become friends, local talent gets a stage, and every celebration, big or small, is remembered for the right reasons.

We are rooted in our community, with local suppliers, local talent and plenty of local love behind the bar and on the grill. And we hold ourselves to a standard of quality: cold drinks and hot food, every single time.
